Meghan Markle's brother writes to the Queen begging her to convince his sister to bring their dad to the palace

Meghan Markle's brother has written a letter to Queen Elizabeth begging her to "convince" his sister to fly their "sick" dad to the United Kingdom.

Thomas Markle Jnr, 52, who is the Duchess of Sussex's half-brother reportedly pleaded with Her Majesty, the Queen of England, to persuade Meghan, 37, to bring their father Thomas Markle Snr, "over to the Palace".

Thomas Markle Jnr said their father is not in good health and he "urged" the Queen to encourage Meghan to bring her father over so he can meet the Royal Family and spend time with his daughter. According to reports, Markle Jnr fears that "if Meghan waits too long it will be too late."

In his message to the Queen, he reportedly wrote:
I urge you to convince Meg to bring her father over to the Palace for him to meet the Royal Family and spend time with him.
I recently went to see him after hearing of his heart surgery and his health is not good. I fear if Meghan waits too long it will be too late as Tom Sr feels like her won’t see her again.

Thomas Jnr, who penned an explosive letter to Prince Harry ahead of the royal wedding in May telling him he would be making the worst mistake in royal wedding history if he marries his sister, has also expressed concerns over his estranged sister and the way she's being treated by the royal family.

The Sun reports that Markle Jr said he fears that his sister Meghan Markle "may feel like she’s being held prisoner and turning into a zombie" in her new life as one of the royals. He told Star magazine that the pressure on her has to be "overwhelming". And he claimed she was being "treated differently" than Kate Middleton.

Thomas Jnr is also said to have urged the Palace to give his dad a "royal title" because he "deserves to be treated like royalty, like he treated Meghan". He also asked for a royal title for Meghan's mum, Doria Ragland.
