Police teargas protesters over detained Premium times journalist, Samuel Ogundipe (photos)
Members of OurMumuDonDo Movement and other civil society organisations this morning staged a peaceful protest for the release of a Premium Times Reporter, Samuel Ogundipe.


The placards-carrying protesters in their numbers arrived the headqaurters of the force as early as 9am to protest the arrest and detention of a journalist, Samuel Ogundipe with the hashtag  #FreeSamuelOgundipe.

After forming a ring at the gate to preventing the protesters from gaining entrance into the building, the police officers suddenly sprayed a liquid substance suspected to be teargas causing commotion at the scene as many of them took to their heels for safety.
