The Igbo culture requires that the traditional marriage holds in the bride's father's compound in the bride's hometown. But an Igbo bride held hers in Rome with her white lover and the video has gone viral.
The Igbo bride and her white groom got married in Rome, Italy, on Sunday, September 9, 2018. It was one colourful ceremony well attended by members of the bride and groom's respective families.
Though it held in a country far away from Nigeria, all the traditional rites were observed, including the bride kneeling to present a cup of wine to her groom. She also had on a traditional attire and so did her white groom.
